How will you match my cars paint?

Dr Bump uses the same cutting edge water based paint system favoured by many of the worlds leading motor manufacturers. We mix all paint on site at the time of the repair, using a computer assisted tinting system, ensuring the best possible colour match to the affected area. We never use 'off the shelf' paint.

Can you repair metallic or pearl effect finishes?

Yes we can. Our regularly updated water based paint system allows us to repair metallic, pearl, mica and combination effect paint finishes.

How good can I expect the repair to be?

Our repairs are of a very high quality. An automotive factory finish is machinery applied to very high tolerances. It is our aim to offer the very best in hand applied, aftermarket body repairs.

My car has damage to the plastic bumpers and metal panels - can you repair both?

We can repair painted 'colour-coded' plastic bumpers, painted metal panels along with textured plastic bumpers and trim.

In general, yes; we have a variety of ways for keeping rain off the vehicle allowing us to complete repairs to our usual high standards.

Depending on the size and location of the stone chip, we can either provide a complete repair or a touch-in.

Upon completion of a repair your car is ready for weather exposure and normal road use.

How should I look after my repair?

You will be advised of any special aftercare procedures upon completion of a repair. Generally, this involves refraining from washing the car for a period of two weeks.

We do not do full resprays or repair major accident, structural or chassis damage. If you are unsure if we will be able to repair your car, please contact us and we will be able to advise accordingly.
